CUSTOMER PARTICIPATION FOR BED BUG TREATMENTS

NAPC preparation list for customers includes several to-do items:

o All beds should be removed and the linens laundered.
o Mattresses and box springs need to be removed from the bed frame.
o All closets need to be emptied and clothing laundered or cleaned and placed and placed in new laundry bag. Do not use same bags after laundry.
o All furniture needs to be moved 3 feet from the walls, vacuum and dust furniture. Furniture needs to be available for inspection and possible treatment.

o Picture frames off the walls.
o Heavily infested mattresses must be placed in a encasement and discarded.
o Dresser drawers need to be emptied and removed away from wall.
o Carpet may need to be pulled for treatment to cracks and crevices. Carpet must be steamed and vacuumed.

A minimum of three service treatments will be made:
1st - Inspection and treatment if prepared
2nd - After one week - second inspection and treatment
3rd- After two weeks - last inspection and treatment

Please prepare to be out of the home for at least 4-5 hours.
